Six Physics Education Students of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Participate in a Student Mobility Program at Prince of Songkla University
Student Mobility Program participants from the Faculty of Islamic Education and Teaching, UIN Sunan Kalijaga
Six students from the Physics Education Study Program, Faculty of Education and Teacher Training (FITK), UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, are participating in a Student Mobility Program at Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Thailand. The program takes place over a four-month period, from March 1 to June 30, 2025, as part of the program’s effort to broaden students’ academic perspectives and provide international learning experiences. The students selected for this program are:

Dinta Rahma Diya (Student ID: 22104050004) – conducting studies in Fusion Plasma under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Boonyarit Chatthong.

Lutfi Elma Sintiya (Student ID: 22104050024) – studying Physics Education under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suttida Rakkapao.

Priandina Ramadhania Istiningrum (Student ID: 22104050018) – conducting research in Material Physics under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chatchai Putson.

Umu Salumita Sari (Student ID: 22104050012) – studying Quantum Physics under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Pruet Kalasuwan.

Nadiya Afifah Afra Salsabila (Student ID: 22104050014) – focusing on Material Physics under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Paphavee van Dommelen.

Aulia (Student ID: 22104050027) – conducting research in Geophysics under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Helmut Josef Durrast.
This program aims to provide students with broader academic exposure in an international environment, expand their academic networks, and strengthen their research competencies. Through mentorship from PSU faculty members, the participating students are expected to gain new insights that will support their future academic and professional development.
Participation in this Student Mobility Program reflects the commitment of the Physics Education Study Program, Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, to promoting the internationalization of higher education and providing students with opportunities to learn directly from experts in their respective fields. It is expected that this experience will contribute positively to the development of students’ academic knowledge and professional competencies.
Throughout the program, the students will engage in various academic activities, research projects, and cultural exchange programs that will enrich their learning experiences. It is hoped that the six students will bring back valuable knowledge and experiences that can contribute to the advancement of physics education in Indonesia.
