The English Study Club in the Physics Education Study Program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta serves as a platform for developing students’ English language proficiency, particularly in academic and scientific contexts. This program is designed to enhance students’ skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking, with a specific focus on physics education literature. Additionally, the Study Club equips students with the ability to teach physics in English. Through this initiative, students are encouraged to build confidence in accessing global references and expressing ideas in academic discussions.

The program is directly supervised by Norma Sidik Risdianto, Ph.D., a lecturer with an international academic background. Using an interactive and collaborative approach, he guides students through discussions and presentations conducted in English. The presence of the English Study Club serves as a strategic medium for Physics Education students at UIN Sunan Kalijaga to develop global competencies while preparing themselves to face the challenges of academic and professional life in an increasingly internationalized educational environment.
